Coaches Courses

WSWO offers annual coaching courses to those who are looking to become certified Foundations level instructors. We also offer training programs to those who are looking to build upon their coaching status in our Build the Skills discipline specific workshops.

Important! There are 2 separate courses required in order to receive your Foundations Trained Certification. You must register for these separately depending on the instruction you are looking to receive:

  • part 1: Foundations (virtual); and
  • Part 2: Boat Driving (in-person) or Cable-specific (also in-person).
Note that throughout the content below, the acronym "LF" stands for "Learning Facilitator"

  • Min 5 yrs experience coaching/teaching at Foundations Level *other sport coaching experience an asset, provide details on application* Resume must be submitted to office@wswo.ca detailing teaching experience.
